Harry Mehre (Class of 1984) was a four sport threat for the Raiders. With varsity letters in Football, Basketball, Track, and Golf, he received numerous honors and awards. He was the State Long Jump Champion and was named the Male Track Athlete of the Year. Mehre was a member of the 1983 Metro Atlanta High School All-Star team, the Northside Neighbor All-Star team, the North Fulton All-Stars Honorable mention, and North Fulton Extra.
Mehre attended William and Mary on a football scholarship, starting all four years as a wide-receiver. In both his Junior and Senior years, he was an AP All-American, Honorable Mention. In 1989, Mehre signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins. He is a member of the William and Mary Sports Hall of Fame.
The Raiders inducted Mehre to the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
