The Raiders fell 13-6 at Greater Atlanta Christian (GAC), bringing an end to the best boys lacrosse season in Raider history.
The first quarter was tight, and hopes were high that the underdog Raiders would be able to keep the momentum. But GAC dashed in a few goals before halftime, and the visiting team struggled to score throughout the second half. It was a bittersweet ending to an otherwise fantastic season.
Greater Atlanta Christian, who was runner-up in state last year to Blessed Trinity, will advance to the Elite 8 next week.
