Boys Win 1st Place in Pole Vault & Throwers Relay

Boys and Girls Track and Field traveled to Parkview High School on Saturday, March 17, 2018, for the 9th Annual Big Orange Relays.

Twenty Boys teams from throughout neighboring school districts competed in the day-long contest. The Boys finished in a three-way tie for 11th place overall.

Big Orange Highlights

In Pole Vault, Raiders Griffin Daniel, Sam Jenkins, and Nick West were the combined champions. One week prior, West set a new personal record at the Atlanta Games, although it was a short-lived record. View the video of his 12'11" vault at the Big Orange Relays (link).

Boys 4x100 Meter Relay Throwers won third place
Their 48:55 set a new personal record

Next on the schedule, the Raiders travel to Westlake High School for the Fulton County Championships on Saturday, March 24 and Monday, March 26.
