Boys Claim 9th at XC Battle of Atlanta
The Boys Cross Country team participated in the Saucony Battle of Atlanta race in Hampton on Saturday, August 26, 2017. The Raider Thundering Herd finished 9th overall in a very competitve field of 38 teams on the Nash Farm Battlefield course.

Freshman Eli Hoppenfield was first across the finish line for the Raiders, finishing 33rd overall with a time of 17:42. All seven Varsity runners finished ahead of region rival Decatur's third best runner, giving notice that the Raiders have designs on a Regional Championship this year. The JV squad finished 4th out of 20 teams to round out a great day for the Raider harriers.
