Boys XC at Battle of Sandy Springs

On a cool, overcast day, Holy Innocents' hosted the Raiders at the Fifth Annual Battle of Sandy Springs on Saturday, August 18, 2018. The two-mile race acts as a time trial for the runners and, more importantly, as a barometer to forecast the season.

Head Coach Zach McKeone was very happy with the results, "The Varsity ran great. We are a very deep squad and I like the level of competition within the team. I was also proud of Junior Ian Rader who won his first race in the JV time trial. We had a tough couple weeks of training in the heat and humidity and we are working hard."

The next outing for the Raiders is Saturday morning, August 25th at the North Georgia Championship. The course is at Lamar Murphy Park in Jefferson.
