Raiders Set Personal Records at Madeline Brown Invitational

Raiders Set Personal Records at Madeline Brown Invitational

The annual Madeline Jude Brown Invitational Meet of Champions moved from its long-time Emory home to the Marist Natatorium this year. The 10th annual meet brought more than 1,000 athletes from across the southeast to what has become one of the largest high school sporting events in Georgia. Due to the Marist football team making the state football playoffs and hosting a game Friday evening, the dive portion of the meet took place following the swim events Saturday afternoon. After 12 hours at the pool, the Raiders brought home a 5th place team finish. Girls diving finished 3rd; Boys diving fiished 5th.

Congratulations to the more than ten Raiders who established new personal records and to Freshman Diver Brandon Rice for his state-qualifying dive.
