Lauk to Play Soccer at Reinhardt

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Lauk (Class of 2018) for making a commitment to play soccer at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia. She received athletic and academic scholarships to play for the Eagles, an NAIA team that competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). The Eagles recruited Lauk to play forward.

Lauk, a four-year starter for the Lady Raiders, earned All-Region 1st team honors as a sophomore. As a junior, Lauk set a new school record for the most goals in a single game (7) and the most goals in a season (25). Not surprisingly, she won the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player award in 2017. Serving as team captain in her senior year, Lauk has already shattered the season goal record. With only three regular season games remaining at the time of this article, she already has 33 goals. Lauk was the school's nominee for the Wendy's High School Heisman award, as well as a Positive Athlete Georgia nominee.

In addition to playing varsity soccer for the Raiders, Lauk plays for the Concorde Fire Soccer Club. A few of her accomplishments include being an Athena A Disney Finalist, a State Cup Semifinalist, and playing with the Region Premier League and the Elite Club National League (ECNL).

Lauk has been a member of the Raider chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) all four years of high school and was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for three years. She was an inaugural member of the Community Service Club and remains extremely active in the club as a senior. Also involved with the Student Government Association, Lauk served on the Sadie committee as a sophomore and the Prom committee as a junior.
