Girls Track & Field Takes 3rd at 2018 Atlanta Games

Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team for their 3rd Place finish at the 6th Annual Atlanta Games. The Invitational meet was Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Lakewood Stadium and boasted 24 of the most competitive teams from across Metro Atlanta.

Congratulations also to the 4x100m Relay team for breaking the school record -- again. At the 2018 Drew Relays in February, Dominque Saintvil, Jadaja Baxter, Kennedy Simmons, and Kennedy Lewis shattered the 20-year old school record with a new time of 47.30. The relay team entered the Atlanta Games ranked Second in the State Class AAAAA and 6th in the State across all classifications. Their time at the Atlanta Games was 47.05.

In the coming week, the JV team competes at the Wheeler High School Wildcat Invitational on Wednesday, March 14.
The Varsity returns to the track on Saturday, March 17 when they travel to Lilburn for the 9th Annual Big Orange Relays at Parkview High School.
