Mark Horton joined the Raider faculty in July 2018 and will teach in the Science Department. Horton will also serve as the Boys Lacrosse Head Coach.

He comes to the Raiders from Sprayberry High School where he was the Head Boys Lacrosse Coach from 2014 until 2017.  

While the head coach at Sprayberry, Coach Horton led the team to three consecutive 10-win seasons, with an overall record of 31-14. He also expanded the Sprayberry Junior Lacrosse program from only having a 7th and 8th grade team to teams from 3rd through 8th grade. 

Coach Horton has also coached football as a varsity assistant and head JV coach for over 15 years at Chattahoochee, Lassiter, and Sprayberry.   

Coach Horton received a B.S. in Secondary Science Education from Kennesaw State University in 1998.
