The auxiliary gymnasium was built in 1970 at the time of Riverwood’s original construction. The gym served as the home court for Raider basketball and wrestling teams as well as school dances, plays, chorus concerts and the Miss Riverwood pageant. Today, the gym is used for junior varsity volleyball and basketball games and practice for varsity teams. The gym recently had a facelift with new Raider blue gym bleachers installed.
