Coach Seals is a member of the Science Department faculty and has coached at Riverwood since 1990.  Although he has primarily coached Cross Country and Track, Coach Seals also enjoyed serving as an Varsity Football Assistant Coach between 1991-1995.  A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he was a three sport athlete at L East High School in Cleveland. Coach Seals was captain of the Football team his senior year, captain of the Track team for both his junior and senior years, and played on the Basketball team. He continued his football career at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, while earning a Bachelor's of Science.  While attending Ohio University, Seals was also a member of the Bondo Club (Martial Arts) and participated in AAU Track. He holds a Masters Degree in Education.

Personal
Coach Seals and his wife Bernadette have two children.  Their son Isaac is in the United States Naval Academy Class of 2015. Their daughter Jeanelle is a member of the Class of 2017 at the United States Naval Academy.
