Coach Guberman's Match Notes:

Max Goldstein hustled from the first serve to the last point and never quit.

Jacob Marcus slugged out a match that featured blistering backhand battles. His box score does not reflect the closeness of that competition; he was fierce and steady.

Guarav Kunwar, the Raider freshman sensation, scored the only victory of the day by winning in solid fashion over Lovett's strong number three player.  Look for big things from Gaurav in the years ahead.

Ryan Roels and Nikunj Jinan faced a sturdy foe and brushed off defeat with sportsmanship and exceptional levelheadedness.

Pascal Acree and Zack Katz had a sound performance in the second doubles spot.  In the loss they showed great communication and perseverance.

Benny Soran and Alex Koenig showed great synergy in an exhibition match that ended in a tie.  Both of them are developing rapidly and challenging well for starting spots. They were also integral in collecting match data that will help our team learn from the experience.
