The Boys and the Girls Tennis teams traveled to Forsyth Central on Friday, March 7 for Region competition. Both the Boys and the Girls brought home important Region wins. The Girls won 5-0; the Boys won 4-1.
Boys Match Notes:
Senior Ryan Roels, stayed resolute in the 1st singles spot winning 7-6, 6-3
Junior Jacob Marcus looked steady in the #2 spot winning 6-4, 6-4
Freshman Gaurav Kunwar made clean shots en route to win 6-2, 6-2
#1 doubles Sophomore Kohl Roberts & Junior Max Goldstein controlled the action at the net in a 6-3, 6-1 win
#2 doubles Sophomores Pascal Acree & Zak Katz took a nail biter to the bitter end and fell short in three sets, 7-6, 1-6, 7-10

Freshman Mia Hodges: 6-0, 6-1
Sophomore Nina Garibaldi: 6-1, 6-0
Freshman Lilly Blumenthal: 6-2, 6-0
