Four in a Row for Boys Tennis

With four losses in a row to start the season, the courtsmen have since put together four consecutive wins.  Thursday, March 13 found the Raiders with a shuffled lineup on the road at Osborne where they swept the Cardinals 5-0.

Match Notes:

#1 Singles--Junior Jacob Marcus 6-3, 6-3
     Marcus stayed solid and closed the match well against a formidable opponent

#2 Singles--Freshman Gaurav Kunwar 6-0, 7-6
     Kunwar is developing new techniques and confidence as he navigates an impressive first season

#3 Singles-- Junior Max Goldstein 6-0, 6-1
     Goldstein brought back his blistering serve

#1 Doubles--Sophomores Kohl Roberts and Alex Koenig 6-0, 6-1
     In a new pairing with a combined height of nearly 13 feet, Roberts and Koenig won decidedly
    
#2 Doubles--Senior Nikunj Jinan and Freshman Benny Soran 6-2, 6-0
     Also a new pairing for the season, Jinan and Soran found synergy. An impressed fan remarked "Is this really their first time playing together?"


After the match, Senior Ryan Roels and Sophomore Pascal Acree looked up from their math homework and said, "We're looking good."
