Boys Tennis opened 2015 Region play with a road win on Tuesday, March 10. It was a warm and overcast afternoon at Sprayberry High School as the Raiders beat a feisty Sprayberry squad 4-1.
Singles
Gaurav Kunwar fought well and won at number one singles, 7-6, 6-4
Jacob Marcus--back to health--dispatched his opponent early 6-1, 6-4. Marcus continues to be a rock at the second singles spot for the Raiders.
Max Goldstein played hard in a three-set loss at three singles, 6-2, 4-6, 7-10
Doubles
Pascal Acree and Michael Roddey were unflappable in a 6-0, 6-0 win at first doubles
The new team of Zack Katz and Carter Rozenboom continue to impress with a 6-1, 6-0 win at second doubles
