Weather causes disruptions to spring sports schedules and this year's tennis season is experiencing some predictable challenges. Poor conditions in February pushed the Milton contest to March 7. Additionally, switching the Forsyth Central game to accommodate the teacher workday pushed three games into three consecutive days. Fortunately, the weather is cooperating for all three days: March 7th, 8th, and 9th.
To start the week, the Raiders traveled to Milton and lost 3-2. The two wins came from Gaurav Kunwar and Michael Roddey. Kunwar's spectacular comeback win was the highlight of the afternoon. After losing ten games in a row, Kunwar fought for a third set tiebreak win.
The next match is a region contest at home Tuesday afternoon, March 8th vs. Sprayberry.
