The 2016 Region 7-AAAAA Tournament was Tuesday, April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta. Playing three games in the two day tournament, the Raiders claimed the #3 spot in the Region and advance to the State Tournament for the third consecutive year.
The Raiders begin the 2016 State Class AAAAA Tournament Tuesday afternoon, April 19 at 4:30pm. The first round is vs. Southwest DeKalb at the Dottie Bridges Tennis Center (4522 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, 30034). Southwest DeKalb is the #2 seed from Region 6-AAAAA.

Region Tournament Notes:
The Raiders entered the Region Tournament as the #3 seed and faced the #4 seed, Creekview, in the first round. When the Raiders beat Creekview 4-1, they clinched a berth in the State Tournament and advanced to the Region semi-finals. The Raiders fell to Cambridge 3-1 (the #1 seed) in the semi-finals and dropped into the losers' bracket. Returning to Fair Oaks Wednesday morning, the Raiders and Cass (the #6 seed) battled to determine the third and fourth place standings. The Raiders defeated Cass and claimed the #3 rank in Region 7-AAAAA.
