Julian James joined the Raider faculty for the 2016-17 school year in the Career Tech department and led the Lady Raiders Softball program as the head coach beginning Spring 2016.

Coach James has extensive coaching experience. Prior to coming to the Lady Raiders, he was the head softball coach at Lovejoy High School, and assisted with other sports at Cartersville and Eagle's Landing.
