The Boys Cross Country team opened the season at the Kosh Klassic on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Westminster's home course challenged the visiting teams from Archer, Bleckley County, Cross Keys, Decatur, Lovett, Newnan, Riverwood and Sandy Creek.
RAIDER VARSITY NOTES
Senior Owen McDaniel led the way running an impressive 18:38 to finish 4th overall. Rounding out the scoring for Riverwood were Luis Zambrano, Ben Shaw, Alec Nathan, Willie Herrigel, Bayne Jarvis, and Benny Soran. The Varsity finished sixth overall.
RAIDER JV NOTES
The JV team finished 4th overall after losing the tiebreaker for 3rd to Lovett. Adil Rarbaje (11th) and Andrew Ungashick (13th) led the way. Rounding out the scoring for JV were Reece Bernard, Christopher Johnson, Caleb Sharper, Chandler Arney, and Christopher Sprung.
