Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team for winning the Area Championship for the second consecutive year and for qualifying for the State Tournament for the fourth year in a row.
The Varsity Volleyball team won the 2017 Area 6-AAAAA Championship Thursday, October 5 and, as a #1 seed, earned the right to host the first round of the State Class AAAAA Tournament.
The State Class AAAAA Volleyball Tournament begins Wednesday, October 11.
The Lady Raiders host Dutchtown, the #4 seed from Area 4-AAAAA, in a best of 3 format beginning at 5:30pm
NOTE: per GHSA policy, Riverwood Athletic Association (RAA) family passes are NOT valid for admission to GHSA State Tournament events.
