Congratulations to the Volleyball team for defeating Whitewater in the Elite Eight round of the 2017 State Class AAAAA Tournament.
The Lady Raiders (#5 seed) traveled to Fayetteville on Saturday, October 21 for a thrilling matchup with the Lady Wildcats (#4 seed).
Whitewater took the first two sets 25-18 and 25-17. The Lady Raiders came back to win in three straight sets: 28-26, 25-22, and 16-14 and clinched their first Final Four appearance since 2011.
The Lady Raiders play Buford in the Final Four on Wednesday, October 25. Game time is 6pm at Buford (2750 Sawnee Avenue, Buford, 30518 map). The Lady Wolves are the #1 seed in the State Class AAAAA Tournament.
