The Varsity Boys basketball team faced top local talent in the Westminster 2013 Holiday Classic Tournament. A tough overtime loss to Johns Creek in the opening game pushed the Raiders into the losers bracket to take on the Lakeside Vikings on Saturday, December 28. Following a 51-43 loss to the Vikings, the Raiders finished strong with a decisive win over the Lovett Lions, 88-57 on Monday, December 30.
The Raiders travel to region opponent Creekview on Friday, January 3 for one more contest during the winter break. Tip-off is 8:30pm
Game 1: Friday, December 27
The Raiders first game of the tournament was an overtime loss to Johns Creek, 65-62
Game 2: Saturday, December 28
Dropping into the losers bracket, the Raiders lost to Lakeside-DeKalb, 51-43
Game 3: Monday, December 30
The Raiders won the final game of the tournament 88-57 over Lovett
