Four Games Remain Before Playoffs

With region victories over Creekview (56-47), Cambridge (56-44) and Forsyth Central (63-60) in January, the Varsity Boys Basketball team has four games left on the schedule before the playoffs begin February 8, 2014.  Losses to Kell and Sprayberry rounded out the January region contests.

Upcoming Games

  • On Saturday, February 1, the Raiders are on the road to Osborne.  The Raiders lost to the Cardinals by one point in December and the Raiders would be delighted to return the favor by beating them on their home court.
  • On Monday, February 3, the Raiders travel to North Springs to take on the Spartans for the first time this season. (Originally scheduled for January 28, this game was moved to Monday, February 3 because of bad weather.)
  • Senior Night is at HOME on Tuesday, February 4 vs Northview. Tip off is 7pm. Senior Night recognitions will take place between the conclusion of the girls game and the start of the boys game.
  • The final home game of the season is a rescheduled game with Pope.  Pope visits Riverwood on Thursday, February 6 for a 7pm tip off.  Pope beat the Raiders earlier this season (67-64); the Raiders hope the home court will provide the extra motivation to beat the Greyhounds and provide momentum for the playoffs.

The Region 7-AAAAA Tournament begins at Sequoyah High School on Saturday, February 8, 2014
