Each Varsity, JV, and 9th grade player MUST have at least one parent attend the Mandatory Player & Parent Meeting.
The meeting begins promptly at 3:30pm in the Tournament Gym, upper level
Families that have not paid the participation and team operation budget fees, or have not joined the Riverwood Athletic Association (RAA), may do so at the parent meeting.
Fees are due at the start of the season.
Participation Fees:
Each player must pay the $100 Sports Participation Fee (only one time per athlete for the entire school year) and the $100 Boys Basketball Team Operation Budget Fee. Make checks payable to "Riverwood International Charter School" or use the Fulton County Schools Online School Payments portal to pay with a debit or credit card. Note regarding Financial Hardships: please contact the team coach to request a hardship waiver. Financial pressure should not prevent students from participating in Riverwood Athletics
Riverwood Athletic Association (RAA):
The RAA is the umbrella organization for every team sport. The all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization's mission is to sustain and promote the ongoing participation of Riverwood High School youth in quality athletics. Donations made to the RAA for Membership will be targeted for larger capital and athletic facility improvements that benefit multiple sports such as a turf practice field with lights, a new sound system for the stadium, and a video scoreboard. Those wishing to make a donation to a specific sport must first join the RAA at the $500 or $1,000 membership level.
