Wrapping up the Thanksgiving break with a road game at Blessed Trinity, the Varsity Boys Basketball team got back on the winning track with a decisive 60-48 victory. The Raiders traveled to North Fulton on Saturday, November 25, 2017 for an afternoon contest with the Titans.
At halftime, the game was tied 22-22. With a miracle half court shot to close the third period, the Titans grabbed a 37-34 lead. The Raiders answered in the fourth -- pouring it on with hot shooting and solid defense to claim a 60-48 win.
Senior Rudy Fitzgibbons led the scoring with 27 points and was 7-7 at the free throw line. Junior Davis Herndon added another 14; Senior Christian Sutton and Sophomore Cody Kaplan scored 6 each. Senior Jordan Coleman dominated the boards, collecting 8 big rebounds.
The Raiders open Region 6-AAAAA play Tuesday, November 28 at home.
Tip off vs. Banneker is at 7:30pm.
